Inexpensive Toddler Fun for flights

By

…And for long waits, too

Believe it or not, activities to keep your toddler entertained on a flight can be very simple. Dollar store items. Household supplies. Even junk drawer objects! I don’t spend a lot of money on kids travel entertainment as a general rule. I do, however, strategize how I pack the activities.

I’ll explain. Whether I’m traveling with one child or two, I always organize their entertainment and toys seperately, using these reusable zippered pouches. Honestly, I use these pouches for everything. They are so handy! They weigh almost nothing, pack flat, and are not fully transparent. With different sizes in the pack, they’re great for much more than play things. For example, I use the long and shallow ones for traveling with toothbrushes or tampons. In the larger-sized pouches, I pack a set of emergency outfits for each kid in these and store them in their backpacks. I use them for holding all of our family snacks.
